NEWS! April 19th Assignment 4 is marked (but I have only received half the assignments back so far). Hopefully, I'll be able to place the assignments in the boxes on the 3rd floor of Stirling in the 308 wing on the 20th April.
Quiz 5 results are up.
The exam will not test on the guest lectures.
You can see the formula sheet for the exam here. Minor exam typo - on the front cover it says there are 25 marks for the MC (1 mark) while in the exam on page 3 it says there are 30 marks (wrong). There are 25 questions and 1 mark for each question.
Don't forget a calculator and don't forget a pencil for the MC
Due to a lack of time I will not be able to prepare review notes.
Course notes and news will appear here. Notes will be made available following each lecture. Unfortunately since the course is a new preparation I am unable to provide notes prior to the lecture

I will update this page with new information once I start preparing the lectures. The course will be framed within the context of the search for extra-terrestrial life, which ties in many concepts from astronomy, physics, chemistry and biology.

Guest lectures will make the course as up-to-the-minute as possible.

Location: Stirling Hall Theatre B, Monday 10:30, Wednesday 9:30, Friday 8:30
