Recent Undergraduate Courses I've Taught
- PHYS 1100 University Physics I (formerly PHYS 1210): A calculus based physics course intended mainly for astrophysics, physics, engineers and chemistry majors.
- PHYS 1101 University Physics II (formerly PHYS 1211): A continuation of University Physics I.
- PHYS 1000 Physics for Life Sciences I (formerly PHYS 1235): An algebra based physics course intended to present the foundations of physics to students not intending to major in the physical sciences.
- PHYS 1001 Physics for Life Sciences II (formerly 1236): A continuation of Physics for the Life Sciences I.
- PHYS 1370 Scientific Method (also PHIL 1255): Taught jointly by faculty from the Department of Astronomy and Physics and the Department of Philosophy, this course presents historical and logical analysis of commonly used methods in science.
- PHYS 3500 Quantum Mechanics I: Building on the knowledge learned in modern physics (PHYS 1500), this course presents basic topics in quantum mechanics.
