We have scoured the Nova Scotia Curriculum for Outcomes in each grade as they relate to our available demonstrations and compiled a resource for teachers of Primary through Grade 12. This resource is meant to help students understand and see the basics of physics & astronomy and to help teachers develop lesson plans rich in hands-on demonstrations. Most of our demonstrations pages have explanations of how to perform the demo yourself. All of them have a video of the demo in action that teachers are free and encouraged to use in their classroom.
The content of this site organized in two ways so that you can easily find what you need:
Many of these demonstrations are available for loan to local teachers. If you are interested in joining the list of teachers who have access to this resource, please contact Dr. Mike Dunlavy either by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
